The club has established the Ruldolf W. and Ans van Der Goot and George Osterman Family Scholarships at Rutgers University. A third scholarship is at Delaware Valley College in Pennsylvania. The van Der Goot Scholarship is a memorial to Ruldolf and Ans who were active memembers.

Matthew is in his Senior year majoring in Ornamental Horticulture with a specialization in Plant Science. He is an excellent student. Matthew is a Resident Assistant, President of the Resident Student Association, a member of Delta Tau Agricultural Honor Society and was The DVC Agricultural Ambassador in 2010-2011.
